On February 28, 2023, Zhao Jing, Director of National Remote Sensing Center of Ministry of Science and Technology, Zhao Xiandong, Director of Science and Technology Project Management Division, Zhang Bo, Project Supervisor, and Xin Dejiu, Director of High and New Technology Division of Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology visited the College of Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering of Jilin University for research, accompanied by Sun Timin, Director of the General Office of Research Institute of Jilin University.
Zhao Jing and his party first went to the laboratory of College of Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering for field research. Dean of College of Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering, JI Yanju, explained in detail the operation in terms of "production, learning, research and application".
Afterwards, in the research symposium, Sun Tie Min, on behalf of the university, welcomed the leaders of National Remote Sensing Center and Provincial Science and Technology Department to investigate and guide the work of the institute. JI Yan Ju reported on the scientific research development, characteristic research fields and promotion of major projects, respectively. Chen Shengbo, director of the Jilin Data and Application Center of High Resolution Earth Observation System, and Wang Yanzhang, executive deputy director of the Engineering Center, and other participating experts made exchange statements on the current scientific research progress and future work direction.
Xin Dejiu expressed that the scientific research team of the College of Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering was effective and able to carry out organized scientific research, and hoped that the College could continue to work deeply in the field of remote sensing in the future and further strengthen the cooperation and co-construction with high-tech enterprises.
Zhao Xindong expressed his gratitude to Jilin University for its past support to the project management work of NRC, and made pertinent suggestions to the future science and technology work of the College of Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering.
After listening to the report, Zhao Jing expressed his affirmation of the scientific research work and team building of the College of Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering. He also encouraged the faculty to carry forward the "Huang Danian spirit", and to make further efforts in the future under the leadership of the national strategic needs, and to work actively to make continuous breakthroughs.
Zhang Bo, Project Supervisor of Science and Technology Project Management Office of National Remote Sensing Center, members of the leadership team and some teachers of Jilin University also attended this meeting.
